I am pleased that the video is helpful and clear.

Currently I use both digital tape and mini-DVD (also digital). Recently purchased a High Definition HD Sony camcorder. I used all three camcorders at the Lake Oswego Trials.

Later, I transfered the tape or mini-DVD content to a DVD, directly, using the RCA (two audio (red/white), one video (yellow)) cable that comes with the camcorder. I hook the cable up to the output on the camcorder and up to the inputs on the DVD recorder (which also has a VHS recorder).

If I wish to edit a video on the computer, once again, I transfer to DVD first, then I "capture" it onto the computer, using Roxio software, from the DVD to the Hard Drive. Once Roxio has it, then I can edit it. Later I burn the result to a fresh DVD.
