1. Print Shop.  Print Shop contains pre-designed graphics and templates for doing poster's, cards, plaques, etcetera, not unlike Microsoft Publisher.

2. Paint Shop Pro.  "PSP", is used for editing photos, and creating graphics, more art and photo oriented.

Your questions:

Q. I can’t figure out what you did last time when you helped me with a dvd cover. I tried to put an exact image right next to each other (top and bottom) so it could print on one piece of paper.

A.  Paint Shop Pro

You first resize one "canvas" to accommodate both parts. Then you paste the other part onto the first canvas.

Q. How do you resize to accommodate both parts?

A. Image / Resize

To begin with, Resize each image to be the same size. Make the resolution the same (72,150,300dpi?) in each graphic and make the size 4.8"x4.8".

Image / Canvas size.

Image and canvas start out the same size. 4.8"x4.8"
Canvas and image can be resized separately.

Your goal in setting up a DVD or CD cover...

a. Make your canvas twice the size of one of the parts. In other words, 4.8" X 9.6"
b. That way you can copy the other image, and paste it onto the new larger canvas, which has room for both images.

c. Once you have enlarged the canvas, you will have to cut and paste the original picture back onto the canvas. That way you can move it onto 1/2 of the canvas, instead of in the middle of the canvas.

d. Now you have made room to copy and paste the other image (measuring 4.8x4.8") onto your newly enlarged canvas. 4.8"x9.6"

e. Now they are side by side, or, one above the other, so you can fold the paper in half, and you have a lovely CD insert!
Note: If they are one above the other, make sure they are oriented in such a way, that they are like mirror images of one another. If they are side by side, they can be oriented the same direction.
